The New Shamrock Inn
Maureen and Bobby Taylor purchased the business on August 10, 2004.
We were inspired from the local people in the area.  Our logo was designed
showing the two backgrounds of us.  Maureen is Irish and Bobby is a
country hillbilly.  Therefore, we had designed a Hillbilly Leprachaun which
has been our logo.
Our vision is to have a friendly tavern/restaurant where people can come in
and mingle, and be one happy family.  We have all kinds of patrons who are
very nice.  We listen to them and help in making a great tavern by their
suggestions.
We also started having a poker/toy run which helps the Cedar Ridge
Children's Home nearby.  We also have many business which help support
us make this a great success.
We are sponsors at the Hagerstown Speedway.  We even sponsor race
cars there too.  Mr. Bobby Taylor is a driver in the pure stock division.  He
drives the #3 black Monte Carlo there.  We are a racing family and support
the racing teams and speedway all the way.  We are also members of the
Auto Racing Chapter of Hagerstown.
The Shamrock Inn was moved from Hancock to its now location in 1955.
It was also a gas station years and years ago too.
Maureen is retired from RCI as an Fiscal Specialist and Bobby is retired
from Giant Food as a Deli Manager.  With both expertiste the Shamrock has
been booming in business.
We have Nascar races, qualifying, football and baseball on their big tv during
all the  seasons.
We also won many best Herald Mail reader's choice awards as well as
honorable mention Herald Mail reader's choice awards.
Come on and see our bartenders and staff.  There are:  Robin, Duke, Lisa,
Renee, Farith, Kim, C
